There once was a crimson butterfly that landed on my fence
Why my fence of all fences to me made no sense
I had built this fence with such sharp edges nothing could land
But never the less here rests a crimson butterfly unplanned  

This creature was beautiful and elusive; what a bright hue
The way it spread it's wings when the wind calmly blew
What an elegant display of perfection; truly a prize
One that would light up a room full of eyes

I wanted to catch this crimson butterfly and keep it in a jar
So it could shine in my house nightly like the stars
And I'd treat it with kindness, love, and affection

When I was a kid I used to play pretend
Oblivious those times would one day end

I would pretend I was an astronaut
Exploring deepest space
I'd use my pillows as a rocket ship
And the blankets as the caves

Sometimes I would imagine
That I was on TV
I used a box as the frame
And cut a hole for a screen

I would always swing a bat
Pretending that I played
Baseball in the sun
While drinking lemonade

I always thought I was a doctor
With my plastic stethoscope
Healing all the animals
With cotton and some soap

I would pretend I was on stage
Strumming air guitar
Singing in a microphone
Into a sea of endless

If I'd cut my hair a certain way
And cover myself up in that chemical crap you call make-up
But did you ever think that just maybe...
I don't wanna be pretty

Who cares if no one ever calls me beautiful

And I think there's nothing wrong with the girl in the mirror

It Came From The DarkIt Came From The Dark:

Amongst the ashes, swirling from the darkness of the pit,

Emerged a hand, dragging a battered body across the rocks.

Blood leaked from the wounds so callously self-inflicted,

And teeth ground with a focused determination and seething anger.

It cared not for the warm rubies - staining the jagged rocks,

It cared not for the sensation of pain...

All that it remembered was a dream, An obsession -

One that drove it ever higher; ignoring all else!

Eventually it emerged from this shadowy hole, this dreary depth,

And in that moment, it learned of the truth.

For this creature, denied sunlight and warmth -

I Hate YouI have something to say to a certain someone. Someone who I know will read this. Do you want to know what my secret is--even though it isn't much of a secret to the person this is meant for?

I hate you because you're always lying, always pretending everything is okay and just making up excuse after excuse.

I hate you because you can't just suck it up and stop being such a child, trying to make everyone else just as miserable as you.

I hate you because you never seem to do your best anymore, even though you insist time after time that you are.

My verses are ugly and I admit to the fact
I can't use pretty language when I'm working with rap

PS a lot of people say this sounds similar to something Eminem said I did not know who he was at the time I wrote this soooooooo yeah a lot of people enlightened me :) so thank you to the people who took a a little time out of their day to tell me :)

also this is not supposed to be a poem or prose or whatever its a statement I don't care if its categorized wrong its not my fault DA doesn't always have the category I'm looking for.

I'm not asking or telling anyone to favorite this I'm just posting my opinion on where I stand and I don't care if its gets favorites on it I don't care how many it gets either as long as people know where I stand but all I ask is that my belief is respected and I am not judged for this.

I agree almost completely with this. I will love anybody whoever they are, but I will not love what they believe/practice, if it goes against the Bible.

I have a brony friend, an optimist friend, a pessimist friend, three German friends, lots of American friends and two Russian friends, but I think the main thing is what you have inside (About qualities), but not what you see! That's why I love my friends!
